The Revd Canon Terry Joyce - Director of Ordinands and Curate Training

Responsible for the development and implementation of vocations policy, support of enquirers, management of selection processes, support during training, liaison with colleges and courses. Development of IME 1-7 and arranging supervision and training for curates.   More Info

Theological resource interpreting the diocese and its context: discerning God. More Info

 

The Revd David McCoulough - Associate Director: Partnerships

Ensuring the diocese works well with other churches, faiths and statutory and voluntary agencies and building credibility.  Represents the diocese in appropriate faith sector, voluntary and statutory sector operational bodies for County and City. More Info

 

The Revd David Jones – Officer for Urban Life and Mission

Support for all aspects of mission and ministry in the urban areas of the diocese, through development and implementation of a diocesan urban strategy, workshops and seminars, preaching and sharing good practice.

 

 

The Revd Derek Hollis – Bishop’s Adviser on Rural Affairs

Support for clergy ministering in rural areas through quarterly meetings, advice to the Bishop on issues affecting rural communities, links with the Rural Community Action Nottinghamshire and other countryside organisations. More Info

 

 

Mrs Shelagh Baird-Smith – World Development Adviser

Working to hold development issues before the Diocese– e.g. Fairtrade, trade justice, conservation, arms trade.  Networking and resourcing parishes. More Info

 

The Venerable Robin Turner CB DL - Bishop's Chaplain for Sector Ministries

Responsible to the Bishop of Southwell and Nottingham for the affirmation, resourcing and encouragement of Sector Clergy in the diocese in their ministry with people in their specialised context.  More Info

 

 

The Rainbow Project, based at St Stephen’s, Hyson Green, is an inner city parish initiative developing good practice in working in a multi-cultural, multi-faith context.
