Gift Aid   - Please note, from April 6th 2011, parishes are able to claim tax refunds of 25% of the net sums received under Gift Aid as the 3% Transitional Relief has now ended, reducing Gift Aid tax refunds to churches. This will costs churches across the Diocese nearly £150,000 in lost Gift Aid in total per annum.

Please review the current level of giving to your local church and prayerfully consider increasing your giving to cover any losses from the reduction in Gift Aid. For further information click here

Free advice and support from the Parish Support Department is now available   We can help you think through your plans, advise on your literature, and give continuing phone support. 

Traditional fully supported Programmes also remain available, at a cost based on a % of the promised increase.   Whatever you are planning for 2012, give us a ring now to discuss what level of support is best for your Church.  We only have a limited number of places available, so early booking is advisable!

ThanksGiving Sunday -  10th June 2012  For 2012, this focus for annual giving initiatives in parishes will focus on giving thanks for the generous giving of our congregations of their time, talents and money - linking to the royal jubilee theme celebration.  If you would like to pre-register for support for June 2012, please contact Carole, Steve or Tony.

A range of resources are now available to help Parishes with special initiatives on giving.  We offer a choice of leaflets / booklets, including the recently launched Giving for Life literature:

• Giving for Life - see our seperate page for further details
• ‘The Money Revolution’  -  a ‘little gem’ of just 60 pages encouraging us to take charge as ‘an investor in the kingdom’.   These booklets are now available at just 80p per copy, backed up by support material for housegroups.
• ‘Thanks Giving’  -  an attractive leaflet offering biblical teaching and practical thoughts on thinking through our giving  (12p per copy).
• ‘Six Steps’ leaflet  -  a very simple aid  to encourage committed giving  (12p per copy).
