NEWS: Comings & Goings

The Reverend Michael Payne, Associate Minister in the Benefice of Chenies, Oxford Diocese, to be Priest in Charge Tollerton St Peter, Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham. The Licensing by the Bishop of Sherwood and Installation by the Archdeacon of Nottingham will take place at 7.30pm on Monday 30 November 2009.

The Reverend Mike Skidmore retired his post as Associate Priest of St Paul’s Carlton-in-the-Willows, St James Porchester and St Mark’s Woodthorpe as of 30th September 2009.

The Reverend Jonathan Smithurst, Priest in Charge of Everton and Mattersey with Clayworth and Gringley-on-the-Hill, Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham was licensed also as Area Dean of Bassetlaw and Bawtry on 1 October 2009. The Reverend Richard Spray has resigned as Area Dean of Bawtry, Southwell and Nottingham Diocese with effect from 30 September 2009, continuing as Priest in Charge of Blyth and Scrooby with Ranskill.

The Reverend Barbara Neill, Associate Minister of Bestwood Park with Rise Park, Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham, will resign from her post on her retirement on 15th November 2009.
